The City of Gering boasts one of the finest park systems in the State of Nebraska. Gering is committed to providing a clean, safe, and fun environment for enjoyment.
 

Picnic Shelter Reservations

Oregon Trail Park Shelter, Legion Park Shelter and Gardner Park Shelter are available for reservation free of charge.  All other picnic shelters are on a first come, first-serve basis.  All shelters are equipped with 110 volt 20 amp power.  Shelter reservations for the current year can be made beginning the first business day in January.
