Kent Ewing

Mayor Ewing was sworn in as the Mayor of Gering on December 12, 2022.  Mayor Ewing is currently the owner of the Stagecoach Stop Convenience Store at 320 M Street, Gering.  Mayor Ewing was employed by the City of Gering as a Police Officer in 1993; he left in 2008 as a Detective Sergeant to open his first business in 2008.  Mayor Ewing opened his second business in 2010, a ground up convenience store with fuel.  The Ewing family has been in the Gering area since its inception in 1887.
